Change of apartment
It is possible to transfer into a different apartment in the case of changes in personal life. The lessor will always consider change of apartments on a case-by-case basis.
The most important condition in changing apartments is that the tenant has a disturbance-free rental history and payment behavior.
The following must also apply:
- the current lease has been in effect for a minimum of 6 months
- it has been one year minimum since the last change of apartment
- the tenant isn’t in debt to Kokkolan Vuokra Asunnot Oy
- the tenant has not received any written warnings in the past year
- the active lease isn’t a fixed-term lease agreement
- the tenant’s current apartment is in good condition
- For 6 months before applying for a change of apartment, rent must be paid on time
Inspection of the current apartment
Before changing the apartment and the application can be accepted, an inspection at the current apartment will be performed. This inspection is carried out by the maintenance company.
Starting from 1.1.2023, all transfer will be subject to an office and maintenance fee of 100€.
Subletting apartments in Kokkolan Vuokra Asunnot Oy properties is prohibited.
